Cairo – Mubasher: Modern Shorouk Printing and Packaging posted a rise in its consolidated profits by 75.53% in the first quarter of 2016, according to a bourse filing.

The company earned EGP 9.79 million ($1.1 million) in the first quarter, compared to EGP 5.58 million ($629,950) for the year-ago quarter.

Its standalone profits grew 68.64% year-over-year to EGP 9.19 million from EGP 5.45 million.

During 2015, the company registered a net profit of EGP 6.7 million in comparison with  EGP 11.1 million a year earlier.
