Kuwait- Mubasher: Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding (HEISCO) has signed a contract with Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) at a total value of KWD 2.52 million ($8.33 million), the company said in a statement.

The 28-month long contract is related to the civil works and the construction of the buildings affiliated to the electricity sub-station (M20) in Al Ahmadi port, HEISCO added on Thursday .

HEISCO’s profits jumped 158.7% to reach KWD 1.85 million in Q1-16, compared to KWD 715,000 in the same period last year.
