Mubasher: Bank of Bahrain Kuwait (BBK) has established a representative office in Turkey, according to a bourse statement.

The launching of this new representative office will offer the ability for BBK “to liaise with existing and prospective clients in the country and be closer to them, monitor local market developments, and to have direct liaison with the Turkish authorities.”

It is noteworthy that the bank has recently raised its capital by BHD 100 million ($265.3 million) in the form of perpetual Tier1 Convertible Capital Securities. The subscribed capital securities stood at BHD 86.098 million which accounted for 86.1% of the total offering.
