Doha - Mubasher: The board of Masraf Al Rayan decided to postpone the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to 26 June, according to a bourse filing.

The EGM was supposed to be held on 20 June but it was postponed due to an incomplete quorum.

The bank pointed out that the meeting will discuss modifying the company’s statute to conform with Qatar’s new companies commercial law no.11 of 2015.

Al Rayan’s stock jumped 1.2% to QAR 34, through trading 54,600 shares at a value of QAR 1.85 million, after half an hour from today’s opening.
