Mubasher: Voltamp Energy’s initial unaudited financial statements showed a 2% fall in the company’s profits for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2016.

Net profit reached OMR 1 million ($2.59 million) in Q2-16, versus OMR 1.02 million ($2.6 million) in Q2-15, according to a bourse filing.

In the first half of the year ended on 30 June, net profit came to OMR 1.67 million ($4.33 million), rising 9.31% from OMR 1.53 million ($4 million) in H1-15.

Voltamp earlier posted a net profit of OMR 670,000 ($1.73 million) for Q1-16, compared to OMR 512,300 ($1.33 million) in Q1-15.
