Mubasher: Dhofar Insurance Company on Sunday reported OMR 2.41 million ($6.2 million) losses in Q2-16, against a profit of OMR 453,600 ($1.17 million) in Q2-15.

The company’s losses in the first half of 2016 reached OMR 2.99 million ($7.77 million), against OMR 292,600 ($759,970) in profit for the same period last year.

These preliminary results might change later after the auditing process for H1 which is expected to end in August, the insurance company added in its statement to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).
