Mubasher: National Hotels Company’s profits fell in the second quarter of fiscal 2016 by 24.99% to BHD 729,910 ($1.92 million), versus BHD 973,460 ($2.56 million) posted for Q2-15.

Earnings per share came to 7 fils by the end of Q2-16, compared to 10 fils for Q2-15.

In the first half of 2016, net profit shrank 9.8% to BHD 1.85 million from BHD 2.05 million in the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.

Earnings per share reached 17 fils for the first six months of 2016, versus 19 fils for the same period in the previous year.

The company earlier posted a net profit of BHD 1.12 million for Q1-16, 4.7% down from BHD 1.07 million for Q1-15.
