Mubasher: Ahli United Bank (AUB) has purchased 64.71% stake in the Commercial Bank of Iraq, according to a bourse filing on the Iraqi bourse.

Bahrain’s AUB has bought 25 billion shares of the Iraqi bank, raising its stake to 161.79 billion shares from 136.79 billion.

AUB stock ended Thursday’s session at $0.65 after gaining 0.78%, while the Commercial Bank of Iraq rose by 2.38% to reach IQD 0.43.
