Cairo – Mubasher: Alexandria Portland Cement said Sunday that it turned into profits during the second quarter of 2016 (Q2-16), according to a bourse filing. 

The company registered EGP 16 million consolidated profits in Q2-16, against EGP 67.2 million losses for the year-ago quarter.

During the first six months, net losses deepened by 34% year-over-year to EGP 90.7 million from 67.7 million.

In the first three months, the company logged EGP 106.76 million losses ($12.1 million), compared with EGP 529,700 losses for the first quarter of 2015.
