Mubasher: Trafco Group’s net profits for the second quarter of fiscal 2016 dropped by 40.53% compared to the same period of 2015.

Net profit reached BHD 293,160 ($771,950) in Q2-16, versus BHD 492,770 ($1.3 million) in Q2-15, according to a bourse filing released on Sunday.

The company’s earnings also declined by 13.3% in the first half of the fiscal year 2016 to BHD 984,770, compared to BHD 1.14 million posted for H1-15.

Operating revenues, however, rose in H1-16 by 33.68% to BHD 1.2 million from BHD 897,700 H1-15.

Trafco earlier posted a net profit of BHD 691,610 for Q1-16, rising 7.6% compared to the same period of 2015.
