Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi International Petrochemical (Sipchem) announced that a technical issue took place at the Carbon Monoxide plant of its International Gases Company (IGC) on Thursday 11 August.

The incident led to the reduction of operating capacity of Acetic Acid of the International Acetate Company (IAC) and Ethyl Acetate of Sipchem Chemicals Company (SCC), according to a bourse filing on Sunday.

The initial estimates indicate that this issue may continue until the third week of August, the statement said.
