Cairo – Mubasher: Al Ezz for Ceramics and Porcelain posted a 42% decrease in the second quarter’s net profit, the unaudited financial results revealed.

The company earned EGP 5.1 million ($573,000) in Q2, compared with EGP 8.8 million ($988,500) for the year-ago quarter.

Over a six-month basis, net profits lowered 18.5% year-over-year to EGP 14.5 million ($1.6 million) from EGP 17.8 million ($2.01 million).

In the first quarter, the company registered EGP 9.4 million profits, higher 4% from EGP 9 million for Q1-15.
