Mubasher: Shell Oman Marketing’s unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of fiscal 2016 showed a year-on-year fall of 17.1% in the company’s net profit to OMR 3.24 million ($8.39 million), versus OMR 3.91 million for Q3-15.

In the first nine months of the year, net profit grew 11.4% to OMR 12.05 million, compared to OMR 10.82 million for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing released on Thursday.

Total revenues amounted to OMR 286.58 million in teh nine-month period, 13.4% up from OMR 252.8 million for the same period last year.

Shell earlier posted a net profit of OMR 8.81 million for the first half of 2016, rising 27.5% from OMR 9.91 million for H1-15.
