Mubasher: The unaudited financial results of Dhofar Fisheries and Food Industries Company revealed that its losses widened 47.11% in the third quarter of 2016, according to a bourse filing.                    

The company recorded OMR 296,910 ($768,510) losses in Q3, compared with OMR 201,820 ($522,390) in Q3-15.

Dhofar Fisheries reported that its losses retreated 12.59% to OMR 543,980 during the first nine months of 2016 compared to OMR 622,300 recorded in the same period of the previous year.

Total sales increased 19.91% to OMR 3.44 million in the nine-month period of 2016, the statement said.

The company noted that the total sales’ sum is still less than its total expenses worth OMR 3.98 million recorded in the same period of 2015.

Dhofar’s losses shrank 41.24% to OMR 247,070 in the first half of the year compared to OMR 420,480 in the year-ago period.
