Doha – Mubasher: Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company's (QIMC) stock led the green list in Monday’s mid trading, after announcing positive results for the third quarter of fiscal 2016.

The stock rose 4.6% or QAR 1.9 by 10:35am Doha time to QAR 43.2.

Trading volume reached 8,450 shares exchanged at QAR 361,130 through 18 transactions.

The stock was not affected by the fall in the bourse’s main index by 0.27% and a 0.35% decline in the industrial sector.

QIMC reported today a 30.3% rise in its profits for Q3-16 to QAR 65.85 million ($18.08 million), compared to QAR 50.55 million ($13.88 million) for Q3-15, according to a bourse statement.

The company achieved profits of QAR 163.1 million in the first nine months of 2016, up 20.6% from QAR 135 million in the prior-year period.
