Kuwait – Mubasher: Al Sayer Group Holding has increased on Sunday its stake in Warba Bank to 6.08%.

Following this raise, the company owns 60.8 million shares of Warba’s overall 1 billion, with a market value standing at KWD 13.5 million.

In mid-October, Kuwait’s central bank approved Al Sayer’s request to increase its share in Warba’s capital to 15% from 4.9%.

Warba stock reached 222 fils at the opening of Monday’s session after 3.5 million shares were exchanged at a value of about KWD 775,000.
