Cairo – Mubasher: Edita Food Industries posted a 39.5% decrease in Q3 profit as registering EGP 51.75 million, compared with EGP 85.66 million for the year-ago period.

Over the first nine months, the company earned EGP 139.016 million, lower 40.6% year-over-year from EGP 233.9 million, a bourse filing revealed on Thursday in light of the consolidated results.

Its unconsolidated net profits for the nine-month period declined 54.2% to EGP 76.1 million from EGP 166.11 million for the first nine months of 2015.

In the second quarter, the company’s consolidated and unconsolidated profits fell 28% and 35% respectively, the company earlier announced.
