Kuwait – Mubasher: Ekttitab Holding’s losses decreased 8.6% during the third quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period a year ago.

The company, which is listed on both KSE and DFM, posted losses worth about KWD 105,640 ($348,600) in Q3-16, compared with nearly KWD 115,520 ($381,200) in Q3-15, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.

During the nine months of 2016, the company suffered losses worth about KWD 380,000 which is 47.9% higher from around KWD 256,940 in the same period a year ago.

The losses registered in the first nine months this year resulted from about KWD 190,600 losses from investments.

On the stock level, Ekttitab gained 2.67% to end KSE’s session at 38.5 fils, while it fell by 2.01% to AED 0.439 at DFM.
