Mubasher: Qatar Insurance Company posted on Wednesday a fall of 7.6% in its profits for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2016 to QAR 339 million ($93.02 million), versus QAR 367 million ($100.7 million) for Q4-15.
Profits for the fiscal year 2016 reached 1.05 billion, 1% down from QAR 1.06 billion for the fiscal year 2015, according to a bourse filing.
Earnings per share amounted to QAR 4.48 for fiscal 2016, compared to QAR 4.84 for fiscal 2015.
The board of directors recommended dividends at 35%, including cash dividends of QAR 1.5 per share (15% of the share’s nominal value) and 10% bonus shares.
