Doha – Mubasher: Widam Food Company’s profit rose 36% to QAR 24.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2016 from QAR 17.7 million for Q4-15.

Net profit for the twelve months of 2016 grew by 32% to QAR 91.3 million from QAR 69.1 million for the same period last year, according to a bourse filing.

The company earlier reported a net profit of QAR 23.1 million for the Q3-16, 24.9% up from QAR 18.5 million for Q3-1.

The stock ended Thursday's session adding 1.16% to QAR 69.62.
