Mubsher: Zima Holding recorded a surge of 4466% in profits to about KWD 865,230 ($2.83 million) during the fourth quarter of 2016 as compared to nearly 18,950 ($61,890) in the same period a year ago.

During the fiscal year of 2016, Zima recorded a leap of 1019.4% in profits to approximately KWD 892,230 as compared to about KWD 79,710 in FY15, according to a bourse filing issued on Thursday.

Operating revenues shrank by 17.8% to KWD 401,020 in FY16 from around KWD 488,080 in FY15.
