Mubasher: Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) posted an increase of 1.7% in profits during the fourth quarter of 2016, as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
Earnings rose to BHD 13.17 million ($33.8 million) in Q4-16 from BHD 12.95 million ($33.2 million) in Q4-15, according to a bourse statement issued on Monday.
The BBK’s profits during the fiscal year stood at BHD 56.41 million which was 6.01% higher than BHD 53.21 million in FY15.
The board of directors recommended a cash dividend of 30% or 30 fils per share for FY16, the statement added.
