Mubasher: The financial statements of Combined Group Contracting Company recorded a jump of 130.9% in profits during the fourth quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period of the previous year.

Earnings soared to KWD 3.21 million ($10.48 million) in Q4-16 from KWD 1.39 million ($4.54 million) in Q4-15, according to a bourse statement issued on Monday.

During the fiscal year, profits increased by 5.6% to total KWD 4.32 million from KWD 4.09 million in FY15.

The board members recommended distributing 10% bonus shares of capital or 10-for-100 shares, the statement added.
