Dubai - Mubasher: National General Insurance Company’s (NGI) ordinary general meeting (OGM) approved the board’s recommendation to distribute 12% cash dividends for 2016.

Total dividends amount to AED 18 million at 12 fils per share, according to the company’s statement to the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Monday.

NGI’s capital stands at AED 149.95 million distributed on 149.95 million shares with a nominal value of AED 1 per share.

The company’s profits increased 187% in the fourth quarter of 2016, reaching AED 7.28 million compared to AED 2.54 million in the same period in 2015.
