Cairo - Mubasher: The Egyptian minister of investment and international cooperation said that a delegation from the World Bank will visit Egypt in the upcoming weeks to discuss a number of new projects.

Sahar Nasr added in a statement on Wednesday that the World Bank will provide the necessary support to enhance the role of the private sector in the social and economic development process in the country, as she agreed with the bank’s vice president for the Middle East and North Africa, Hafez Ghanem, during the recent meeting in Washington DC.

On Saturday, the Egyptian president met with the World Bank’s officials during his visit to the United States.

Nasr previously revealed that she is currently negotiating the third tranche of the $3 billion loan with the World Bank.

Ghanem said before that he is expecting the agreement for the loan’s third tranche to be reached before the end of this year.
