Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) suspended the trading of a number of listed securities that are settled after two business days in preparation for implementing the new (T+2) settlement cycle of listed securities.
Suspension will take place on 19 and 20 April and shall resume on 23 April, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
During the suspension, the new (T+2) settlement cycle shall replace the current (T+0) settlement cycle. Accordingly, ensuring that there are no suspended transactions is a must prior to the (T+2) implementation.
Tadawul noted that the Suspension will includes Mohammad Al Mojil Group, Al-Baha, Bishah Agricultural, Weqaya Takaful Insurance, Sanad Cooperative Insurance, Nama Chemicals Co, and Go.
Moreover, a number of Sukuk will be covered under the suspension, including Sadara's sukuk, Bahari's Sukuk, Arabian Aramco’s Sukuk, Saudi Electricity Company Sukuk 3 and 4.
