Mubasher: Esterad Investment achieved a growth of 56.5% in profits to about BHD 717,500 ($1.9 million) during the first quarter of 2017, compared to around BHD 458,400 ($1.2 million) in the same period of 2016.

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at 5.15 fils in Q1-17 from 3.24 fils in Q1-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.

During FY16, the Bahraini firm posted a decline in profits to approximately BHD 806,360 from BHD 1.155 million in FY15.
