Mubasher: Galfar Engineering and Contracting has been awarded a tender worth OMR 17.8 million ($46.09 million) by Oman Electricity Transmission Company.

The tender relates to the construction of Birkat Al Mouz and Sumail Industrial power stations, according to a filing to the Muscat Securities Market (MSM).

The completion period is 24 months, in addition to 6 weeks for mobilization.

Galfar expects to generate a reasonable income from this project.
