Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on Sunday extended the temporary approval for the Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance Company’s (SAICO) aviation insurance policies.
The renewal period will be two months, starting from 30 April 2017, according to SAICO’s statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
On 27 March, SAICO had said that it had received SAMA’s approval for electronic sales on its website.
The Capital Market Authority (CMA) suspended trading on the company's shares on 14 April, until it responded to the regulatory requirements and fully disclosed all the information requested by the authority.
