Mubasher: Bahrain National Holding Company reported a rise in net profits by 43.7% in the three-month period that ended on 31 March, according to a bourse filing.

The company said in a statement to the Bahrain Bourse on Wednesday that profits reached BHD 2.04 million in the first quarter of 2017 compared to BHD 1.42 million in the same quarter last year.

Return on Equity (ROE) amounted to 18.7 fils in Q1-17 compared to 13.3 fils in Q1-16, the statement noted.
