Kuwait – Mubasher: Mezzan Holding Company achieved a growth of 2.5% in profits to KWD 5.32 million ($17.44 million) during the first quarter of 2017 from KWD 5.19 million ($17.01 million) in the same period of 2016.
The company’s revenue increased by 3.4% quarter-on-quarter to KWD 57.5 million, which is the highest level of quarterly revenues since Mezzan was listed, according to a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.
The company’s regional business operations grew by 2.4% and 0.36% in Kuwait and the UAE, respectively.
Mezzan’s revenues increased by 4.9% in Qatar and 1,125.5% in the KSA, while shrinking by 39.2% in Jordan.
At the stock level, Mezzan closed Wednesday’s session at 990 fils.
