Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session in green, on the back of a grouped rise of the market sectors.

The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) gained 0.7% or 48.49 points, and closed at the level of 6,940.48 points.

Traded values registered SAR 3.72 billion ($933 million) compared to SAR 3.23 billion ($862 million) on Monday.

Traded volumes also increased to 260.69 million shares, up from 230.27 million shares in yesterday’s session.

As for the sectors’ performance, consumer durables led gainers, as it added 2.8%, followed by media with 2.1%, and energy with 1.5%.

The banks sector index also rose 1.4%, while the telecom and materials sectors edged up 0.7% and 0.22%, respectively.

On the other hand, three sectors closed in red, led by commercial and professional services which declined by 0.48%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market fell 2.1%, losing 91.6 points, and closed at the level of 4,248.55 points.
