Mubasher: The UAE and Saudi Arabia have pledged a total of $100 million to a World Bank (WB) fund that will assist female entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Middle East, The Wall Street Journal reported.

“This facility has clear alignment with our broader work to advance women’s economic empowerment,” WB president Jim Yong Kim said, adding that “we look forward to launching the facility later this year”.
