Mubasher: Agility announced on Friday reaching an agreement to pay $95 million (KWD 28.8 million) in cash to settle a civil lawsuit accusing it of defrauding the United States military on food supply contracts, according to Reuters.

On Wednesday the company said in a statement to Boursa Kuwait that it reached a settlement for the contracts held from 2003 to 2010 when it was the primary food supplier to the US army in the Middle East, including during the war in Iraq.

The settlement, which was assured by the US Department of Justice, will allow Agility to once again pursue new US government contracts.
