Kuwait – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Wednesday issued securitisation bonds for KWD 175 million, with a duration of three months.

These bonds were oversubscribed four times, with a return of 1.5%.

The issuance took place on 13 June and the bonds will mature on 12 September, according to a recent statement.

Since the beginning of 2017, the issued securitisation bonds amounted to KWD 2.93 billion, the statement said, noting that there were two types of securitisation bonds issues; six three-month issues at a value of KWD 1.18 billion, and seven six-month issues at a value of KWD 1.75 billion.
