Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The natural gas supply from Qatar to the UAE will not stop after the diplomatic rift between Qatar and some Arab and Gulf states, Reuters reported, citing Sharjah National Oil Corporation’s (SNOC) CEO Hatem Al Mosa as saying.

It is not expected that gas supplies from the Dolphin pipeline will be suspended, Al Mosa added, according to Reuters.

In terms of gas, Qatar has not been affected by the rift, and the pipeline between Abu Dhabi and Qatar has not been impacted, the CEO indicated.

The Dolphin pipeline links the Qatari North Dome field with the UAE and Oman and it pumps about 2 billion cubic feet of gas per day to the UAE.

On 5 June, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, and the UAE broke their diplomatic ties with Qatar, after accusing Qatar of supporting terrorism.
