Qatar takes legal action to open flight routes – Minister
Doha is ready to discuss all GCC concerns according to principles that were previously agreed on

Doha – Mubasher: Qatar is currently taking legal procedures to open the routes for Qatari flights, Al Arabiya Channel said via its Twitter account, citing Qatar's minister of foreign affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani as saying.

Doha is ready to discuss all GCC concerns according to principles that were previously agreed on, Al-Thani added, stating that the crisis will end if there are clear principles that are followed.

The Qatari minister will visit the US next week to discuss the economic impact of the country’s diplomatic rift and its impact on the fight against terrorism.

Al-Thani hopes that the Kuwaiti mediation efforts will contribute to solving the dispute, Al Arabiya Channel added.

On the other hand, UAE foreign minister Anwar Gargash on Monday said that the GCC countries are preparing a list of demands from Qatar, which will be completed in the coming days.

The diplomatic rift had resulted in the suspension of flights between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the UAE.
