Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait's crude oil exports rose 10.2% in May 2017 on an annual basis, recording the first growth in 4 months, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Kuwait is considered the third crude oil resource for Japan with overall shipments of 6.91 million barrels (223,000 per day), KUNA reported citing the Japanese Agency for Natural Resources and energy.

The surplus in the balance of trade between Kuwait and Japan grew 95.7% during May.

Japan comes in the third place on the oil consumers' list behind US and China.
