Cairo – Mubasher: A security source in Egypt’s Ministry of Interior on Friday said that two police officers and three soldiers were killed after a terrorist attack in El Badrashein city in Giza, according to Middle East News Agency (MENA).

Egypt is facing several extremist armed groups in the Sinai peninsula, the most dangerous of which is the Islamic State in the Sinai Province.

On Friday, 7 July, security personnel in northern Sinai succeeded in thwarting terrorists near the Rafah border, colonel Tamer El Refaie a spokesperson for the Egyptian Armed Forces said, adding that security forces killed over 40 terrorists and destroyed six vehicles.
