Cairo – Mubasher: The financial results of Golden Pyramids Plaza Company on Monday showed a year-on-year turn to profitability in the first quarter of 2017, according to a bourse filing.

The Egyptian firm achieved profits of EGP 26.32 million in the three months ended March 2017 against losses of EGP 5.09 million in the corresponding period of 2016.

The company succeeded in overcoming foreign exchange losses in Q1-17 against losses of EGP 34.20 million in Q1-16.

Golden Pyramids achieved profits of EGP 36.35 million in 2016 against losses of EGP 33.52 million in 2015.
