Riyadh – Mubasher: Khalid Al Falih, the Saudi minister of energy, industry, and mineral resources on Monday said that there will not be further discussions of deeper oil output cuts from members and non-members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), according to Reuters.
The ministers of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Kuwait, and Venezuela are planning to discuss production caps on Nigeria and Libya, the agency added, citing Al Falih as saying.
“Nigeria and Libya have been exempt from the cuts to help their industries recover from years of unrest,” Reuters stated.
