Mubasher: First Investment has signed a contract for purchasing a stake in the Canadian Medical Center for KWD 3.25 million ($10.78 million) in instalments.

The financial impact from inking this contract will be registered in the income statements of the third quarter this year, according to a bourse filing issued on Tuesday.

It is noteworthy that the company reported a decline of 65.3% in profits to about KWD 59,210 in Q2-17 from nearly KWD 170,580 in Q2-16.
