Mubasher: Al Ahleia Insurance reported a decline of 18.3% in profits to KWD 1.92 million ($6.37 million) in the second quarter this year compared to KWD 2.35 million ($7.79 million) in the same period in 2016.

During the first six months of 2017, the company posted a decline of 16.1% in profits to KWD 4.8 million from KWD 5.72 million in the same half a year ago, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.

In the first quarter this year, profits shrank by 14.5% to KWD 2.88 million compared to KWD 3.37 million in Q1-16.
