Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) dropped 0.15% or 11.32 points to 7,399.98 points.

TASI’s traded volume declined to 129.68 million shares exchanged on Tuesday, against 144.5 million shares on Monday, while trading value dropped to SAR 3.02 billion ($805 million) from SAR 3.13 billion ($835 million).

The pharmaceuticals sector led losers, falling 1.02%, followed by banks with 0.18% and materials with 0.16%.

On the other hand, seven sectors rose, led by the investment sector with 2.24%, followed by telecommunications with 0.3%.

Nama Chemicals led the 109 losing stocks, sliding 9.01% to SAR 20, while Red Sea led the 57 gainers with a 7.14% rise to SAR 19.8.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market slid 0.4% or 14.12 points to 3,488.62 points.

As for Parallel Market stocks, Al Kathiri led the losers with a 2.05% drop to SAR 19.10, while Abo Moati led risers with a 1.43% increase to SAR 12.08.
