Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait indices closed the week ended on 14 September in green, as the price index grew 0.24% or 16.44 points to 6,913.86 from 6,897.42 points.
The weight index went up 1.53% or 6.63 points to 441.32 points, while Kuwait-15 rose 2.8% or 27.75 to 1,027.07 points.
The price index is swinging between 6,850-point level and 6,950-point level, the technical analyst Hassan Al Kandari said, noting that the index needs to achieve a high turnover to reach 7,000-point level.
Over the week, the turnover increased 261% to KWD 167.74 million from KWD 46.47 million.
Trading volume reached 695.72 million shares from 232.38 million shares, rising 199.4%.
Executed transactions rose 187.2% to 25,220 transaction, as compared to 8,780 transactions last week, which had only three sessions, due to Eid Al Adha.
Market capitalisation reached KWD 30.09 billion ($100 billion) versus KWD 29.63 billion ($98.5 billion) the week before, gaining KWD 460 million, or 1.6%.
