TASI resumes rises, Nomu unchanged early Tuesday
A total of 14 sectors were in the green early Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday in the green backed by its leading sectors, with the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) resuming its gains after Monday’s declines. The parallel market Nomu index remained unchanged.

TASI grew 0.24% or 17.92 points to 7,411.31 points by 10:49 am Saudi time. Turnover amounted to SAR 486.19 million after 22.77 million shares were exchanged through 15,370 transactions.

A total of 14 sectors were in the green early Tuesday, led by telecommunications with 0.74%, followed by insurance, utilities, and banks with 0.6%, 0.58%, and 0.4%, respectively.

On the other hand, five sectors were down led by investment services with 0.16%, followed by healthcare and materials with 0.1% and 0.05%, respectively.

Al Khaleej Training and Education led risers, adding 3.1%, whereas Yansab led fallers, losing 1.4%.

In the meantime, the Nomu parallel market index was stable from its closing on Monday at 3,432.36 points.

Only two Nomu shares were traded since the start of the session, with Thob Al Aseel adding 5.6%, whereas Al Kathiri shed 0.11%.

TASI closed Monday down, falling below the 7,400-point mark, whereas the Nomu index closed in the green.
