Mubasher: Qatari Investors Group on Tuesday reported a decline in profits for both the third quarter of 2017 and the first nine months of the year.

The company logged QAR 41.04 million ($11.4 million) in profits in Q3-17, registering 33.4% decline from QAR 61.58 million ($17.1 million) in the year-ago period, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

Between January and September, the Qatari Investors Group’s profits fell 12.3% year-on-year to QAR 193.25 million from QAR 220.31 million.

The earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 1.55 for the nine-month period ended 30 September versus EPS of QAR 1.77 in the same period of 2016.

The Qatari firm previously posted a 4.1% decline in profits to QAR 152.21 million in the first half of 2017, compared to QAR 158.73 million in the same period the year before.
