Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Omani Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) told Emirates Telecommunications Corporation Group (Etisalat) that it cancelled the bid of the third mobile phone network licence.

Any developments will be announced if occurred, subject to stock market regulations, according to a statement to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX).

On Wednesday, the Omani TRA awarded the third operator to a local firm which is owned by some investment funds and a foreign partner.
