Riyadh - Mubasher: The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) closed the week ended Thursday, 26 October 1.4% or 100.6 points down at the level of 6,910.65 points.
TASI's market capitalisation dropped SAR 26.3 billion ($7.02 billion) to SAR 1.633 trillion ($435.4 billion).
Traded values declined 3.7% to SAR 2.472 billion ($659 million) this week, while traded volume went up 8% to 135.8 million shares.
The market’s sectors tended to decline, except for the food sector, which rose 1.04%.
The communication sector led top losers with 8.17%, followed by the media sector which tumbled 4.97%.
Likewise, the banks and materials sectors fell 1.3% and 0.04%, respectively.
The main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market (NOMU) levelled up 5.78% or 174.4 points to 3,191.8 points this week.
Traded volumes on NOMU amounted to 265,000 shares at a turnover of SAR 5.2 million in a week.
