ADNOC to cut crude oil production in December - Minister
At the end of 2016, OPEC members and several non-member states agreed on crude oil production cut

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The UAE’s minister of energy Suhail Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei on Sunday stated that the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) informed its customers about the crude oil production cut in December.

“As part of UAE compliance with OPEC agreement, ADNOC announced its December crude oil nomination cut: Murban 15%, Das 10%, Upper Zakum 5%,” said Al Mazrouei via twitter.

“This [announcement] reflects the UAE’s continued focus on reducing its oil production by 139,000 barrels per day as per its OPEC commitment,” the top official added.

At the end of 2016, OPEC members and several non-member states agreed on crude oil production cut by 1.8 million barrels per day.

The agreement was implemented in the first six months of 2017 and was extended for nine months set to end March 2018.
